Join the dog sledding adventure!

Experience the power and joy of the sled dogs as they run – all year round!

The sled dogs are bred to run and love their job, not letting a lack of snow stop them. The dogs are ready to pull on the gravel roads around the pond during the autumn training in preparation for the big winter adventure across the snowy plateaus.

Our bare ground tour runs on gravel roads around the farm.

Who: All ages

Duration: The experience lasts approximately 20 minutes - You can take turns driving the team (minimum 15 years old)

Meeting Point: Ask at the reception!

Includes: Room for up to 7 people per round.

NOTE!!!! For most activities, we hope for brilliant sunshine, but for dog sledding on bare ground, we wish for cold, cloudy weather, and rain! Dog sledding is entirely dependent on the weather, as it needs to be cooler than 12-13 degrees Celsius. If it’s warmer, we cannot conduct the dog sledding for the health of the dogs.

Important to remember: Check the weather forecast - and bring clothing suitable for the conditions, keeping in mind that the weather can change quickly in the mountains! Remember to wear warm clothes, and clothes that can get dirty. Even though you will be moving around somewhat, you won’t warm up significantly.

Other: This activity is weather-dependent and may be canceled shortly in advance if it becomes too warm for the dogs.
