Lean-to Shelter by the Farm
Location:
The lean-to shelter by Gåsetjern is idyllically situated about 350 meters from the main house, surrounded by mountain tranquility and with lynxes as its closest neighbors. A unique accommodation option for those seeking an authentic and close-to-nature experience.
Capacity:
One lean-to shelter with space for up to 6 people.
Toilet/Shower:
Access to shower and toilet facilities in the main house.
Beds:
Hooks for hanging three hammocks, and bench space that can accommodate up to six sleeping spots. Reindeer hides are available for extra comfort.
Bedding and Towels:
Duvets and pillows are not included. You must bring everything you need for sleeping outdoors. Reindeer hides are available in the shelter. Bedding and towels can be rented from Langedrag – please inform us in advance if needed.
Common Area:
Access to a shared fireplace lounge in the main house, exclusively for guests staying in the building. Here you can light a fire, play cards, or enjoy a good book in cozy surroundings.
Important for Overnight Guests:
Please inform us if you are arriving later than 6:00 PM on the day of arrival. Check-out is at 10:00 AM on the day of departure. Cars are not allowed in the courtyard – luggage must be carried approximately 200 meters from the parking area.
Full board accommodation includes:
– Entry to the park on the day of arrival, departure day, and all days in between. The admission ticket includes access to guided feedings at 12:00 PM and 2:00 PM daily
– Morning chores in the barn and with the huskies before breakfast. You choose where and whether you want to help
– Dinner, breakfast, and a packed lunch. Coffee/tea is included with meals
– The opportunity to experience Langedrag before and after regular opening hours – feel the peace, the closeness to the animals, and the unique farm atmosphere
